“Copse Cottage is a lovely spacious, well equipped cottage. We had a very relaxing few days mainly reading by the log burner because of very wet weather. Only two steps to the front door and no stairs makes it ideal for us ‘oldies’!! The big bed was very comfy and the shower was really good. We had a very nice lunch at the Kings Arms and can recommend the bread from the Village Shop.”

“We have fallen in love with Copse Cottage. The surrounding areas are amazing and we loved our day trip to Bath. Sally and Charles have thought of everything and it is one of the nicest and most comfortable cottages we have ever stayed in. “Enjoyed a lovely quiet week at this quirky cottage. Great base in a lovely area. Revisited lots of previously visited locations, great memories. Cottage is spacious for 2, good quality equipment, surprisingly very good and not basic which was refreshing. Great weather completed our stay. Thank you so much.”

“We have many more miles to travel on this trip. If only Copse Cottage was portable! Without a doubt one of the nicest accommodations we have had the pleasure to stay in. Perfectly clean, wonderfully decorated and an amazingly comfortable bed. Great base for our days out to Highclere Castle, Highgrove Garden and the White Chalk Horses. Sorry we have to go, do hope to return. All the best. ”
